Hi gang!
I took my daughter on her first 3-d shoot this sunday.  She a month shy of 3 years old now and she was great to have along!  It was a 40 target shoot and she got a bit tired at the end and I ended up carrying her from target to target. Between pulling my bow and holding a 36# kid in one arm up and down hills and over ditches I am a sore daddy today.  Still we both had a blast and we are going to do it all again next sunday!

here are some pictures...

Here we are on the trail. Oh by the way, the bow I am shooting is a dryad windtalker.

As you can see she loves to help me pull arrows.
Despite missing her nap time, and following her dad and his friends around all day shooting bows she never once cried, even when she'd trip. I can't brag enough of how proud I am of her for sticking it out and never once complaining.  Oh and she says she wants a pink bow and pink arrows.

A day with the kids is a day well spent.  When my daughter was about the same age, she would follow along while I shot.  She loved to count the arrows in the target and never failed to tell me when I missed.  Quite often we would have to take a break from shooting because her Barbie Doll losted a shoe or needed her hair fixed.

My little girl is now a young lady of 14 years and I couldn't be more proud of her.

I took my oldest daughter along on her first tagalong with Daddy when she was six. Just as I was drawing on a doe we had snuck up on she proceeded to say "DADDY THERE'S A DEEEEEER!!!!!" in her loudest little girl's voice. It was a hoot. I would not have traded it for anything. She went with me on many after and got a shot at her first deer when she was 11. I taught all 4 of my girls to hunt and fish. All still fish and some still hunt. Now ages 37, 35, 35, and 33.

Treasure the times with them, because they are never replaceable.
"Then Peter said unto them. Repent all of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

NOW THAT'S PRICELESS !
Man I started taking my daughter with me hunting & fishing at the same age yours is now. She is 24 now and we have always been best buddies. You can never spend to much time with them. You know people say they don't listen, but they do. My daughter has come back and told me in the last few years that I really did know what I was talking about when I would tell her what she should or shoudn't do. We are still best buddies.
And now I have 2 precious grandkids, one 5 ,and one 6. Two more bowbenders !
                           GOD BLESS YOU !
