Just wanted to give public thank you to Bill at Bitzenburger. I sent and email for help and he took care of me above and beyond expected. Service like that is hard to find these days.

They are great folks IMO. My old clamps needed new springs. They put them on for me at a reasonable cost. Now clamp holds feathers tight agian. Actually I had all three of mine done.

Roadkill

Good to know.  I was asking at the Archery shop owner if they sold replacement springs yesterday

I think they've been in business almost a hundred years; must be doing something right.

Their products and customer service are both outstanding.  I love my Bitz.  I know there's a myriad of other stuff that will stick an arrow on but the Bitz jigs to me just make arrow building more precise, consistent, easier, and more enjoyable.

Didn't know they did that service, I've got to send them mine that I bought in 1992 to get new springs.

I just replaced my right wing clamp. It finally could not hold a feather anymore. My dad bought that Bitz jig in 1967 !

20 years and still going strong. Dont see how one could wear out the springs but OK. Glad I have mine.

Good to know, three of my clamps have trouble holding the feathers as tight as I want.  I tried using paper binder clips but they hold the feathers too tight.  Of course, I've had them for twenty years, and they were older than that when I bought them used.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Walt, I bought a new clamp from Amazon. $24. At my door in two days.
