I have been shooting a Sky recurve that some one had glued a solid block of rubber on the shelf.  It serves the purpose of a rest.  It is just over 1/4 inch high,  I tuned in some 50-55 cedars, but that unforgiving rubber block ate hen feathers.  So I took an old toothbrush to the bandsaw and sander. After a few minutes I had it fitted to the shelf and then trimmed it to ensure it was at the right height to get back to square.  A little dry time and it is back packing arrows into groups now.  Remember those toothbrush rests fromyears ago?  Still work, and I only used half of it, so the replacement is ready

I always use a toothbrush to clean up broadheads they hit dirt.  It works pretty good getting in the crevices.

The problems with your toothbrush rest are that you made it yourself and it didn't cost $125.99 - or more.
