I shoot Striker bows and I believe they are as good as any bow out there.  Where you located in Ohio?  You can go to the Striker shop and shoot all his different models.

The ones i have shot were very well made and had good speed. I would have one of Rick's t/d longbows if i didn't love my zippers so much.

I have a Striker SlapStik bow. I love it! The bow shoots very smooth, quiet and fast. Rick is a very talented bowyer and is great to do business with. You can get contact information and see the events he will be attending from his web site at  http://www.strikerbows.com

Flight,  not sure where you are coming from but if you'd like to take a run up to Striker maybe we could get a couple of guys (Dick??) together for a cup of coffee and a drive up north (I live in Dayton).  Dick has been telling me how good the bows are and I'd like to drive up myself.

I shoot a Striker Select. The two things I like the most is the grip and lack of hand shock. Rick is a hell of a nice guy I met him last year at Harrisburg and purchased mine.   Joe

For my .02 worth-when I met with some of the guys in here to try out some different longbows I had a chance to shoot a striker that was 42#. I was surprised at the speed it fired an arrow out.

I bought a used slapstick, 56" #58 @ 28 off a guy from the LW and love it.  I recently shot every hybrid LB at the KZOO show I could lay my hands on just to see if there was something that I liked better.  While there were several that looked prettier and that I would gladly own, I can say that (IMO) there wasn't anything that outperformed it.  It is ABSOLUTELY dead in your hand and seems fast as the others of its design.  The best $275 I ever spent!

Rick offers not only a great quality product but great qualiity service.
As in any business, you'll find some that are not so pleasant to deal with, many that are pleasant and some that are great to deal with. Rick is one of those who's great to deal with.

There's a few bowyers out there that go above and beyond with service, that come to mind. Rick is one of the greats to deal with. Same with Dan Toelke and JD from Whisperstik.

I shot Ricks bows at a sportsmans show here in VT. After three        shots  from Rick's personal bow, a three piece longbow I was hooked. Loved it  Wish I could buy one. Rick is very personable I think he would be a great guy to deal with. The bows are very nice to look at also.

Rick is a great guy to deal with. I ordered a stringer from him last year at the IL deer and turkey classic. I shot every bow he brought with him on saturday evening last year when it was slowing down. After shooting them all I was set on the stringer for my first long bow.

Went back the next day to order one and Rick walked me threw everything because I wasn't totally for sure of what I wanted. Which grip style I wanted, draw weight, which woods to use and so on.

Rick's bows are great, feel great in your hand and are shooters for sure. I can't wait to order another one when the boss will let me.

BTW, I have a 58" stringer,50lbs, with bocote riser and bocote limbs with bamboo upgrade on the limbs and osage stripe in riser and on the limb tips.

I love this bow so much that I have not got my compound out of the case this year since hunting season was over for me.

Rick gets 2 thumbs from me.
