May need to play with another arrow type and am wondering the spine difference btwn the AD Trad-lites and the Nitro Stinger Orange?
I've played with the AD Lites before, but have a light bow that I am setting up...45# (plus or minus 1 or 2) at 29" very center shot recurve.
Looking to build a 400gr+/- arrow.
Thx
Go with the Nito-lites - yellow. Approximately 6 grains/inch. Should work with 175-200 grain point and put ya' in the 400 grain ballpark.
Lites are 9.5 grains an inch according to the website. Trads are 11 grains
The AD lites and trad's are going to build too heavy an arrow, I think (from the bit I've played with them).
The numbers on the yellows are pretty good...with a point at 150 it puts me right there (maybe a bit under.
You think the oranges will require too much up front and build it out closer to 500?
Thx
Orange are stiffer than Trad heavies and way too stiff for your bow. You would need about 300 grains up front to get the spine down.
I shoot the Nitro Lites(yellow) and my 29.5" arrows with 200 grain points weigh in right at 460 grains
I would also recommend the Nitro Lites......you might want to contact Gary as he's got the lowdown on all the AD shafts. Look for Arrow Dynamics on the Sponsor's List.
This page needs to be added to his sponsor link Terry.

The one listed now doesn't include the Nitros.
Perfect...thanks all.
Kelly, great to hear from you...hope all is well.

So who might have the Nitro Lites in stock, I'm looking at websites, but no one has them listed.
Make a phone call to Gary or Ted or both.
