thanks for the encouragement!
Quiver is great and the arrow color really matches the grass. Don't miss LOL
Nice!
cant wait till payday when i can buy some more feathers and staves!
what difference does the handedness of the fletchings make?
Lookin good Fish , Whats the size of those fletches , for your trip to France w/ the broad heads you may want to go to 5inch fletch .
nice one fish
Good looking gear.
thanks for the tips guys, whats the advantage of longer fletchings?
nice job
very nice :0)
Excellent work!
The more square inches of feather you hang on the back of the shaft, the faster it stabilizes the arrow after the shot. For a short range hunting shot, with a broadhead, or maybe with a little less than optimum spined arrow for the bow, this can be handy.
The more feather, the faster it stabilizes, and the slower and noisier the arrow flies. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to find the most efficient fletch length, shape and height for your hunting combination. I usually go for a 4 1/2" shield, and trim it just high enough to stabilize the arrow well.
Oh, I like the quiver, but it looks a little short. Got kids? The "Lincoln Green" arrows are entirely appropriate. (I just bought a copy of Robin Hood, with the Wyeth illustrations.. :) )Both projects were executed with style and care, and very well done!
