I currently have a Thunderstick MOAB 51#@26" and I am wanting to go down In the low 40# range. And I want a 52" or 54" shrew longbow for groundblind hunting.Do you prefer the recurve or longbow models in the Shrews.Does one draw easier than the other? Thanks for the input.
I own a higher weight bow, but did try a longbow in the 40# range and draw just like mine (easier pull tho). what do you like longbows or recurves? If you have a long bow now why not just get a long bow?
David,
I think you would like Classic in a 52". They are very quick and draw very smooth as well.

Here's my 52" Shrew Classic Hunter. It worked great in the blind during turkey season.

David,
I have 2 super shrew long bows. both are 56" and one is 43#@25", and the other is 46#@25".
They are very handy and stable. Plenty fast.
Bill
come to great lakes longbow invitational and shoot one there I am sure someone will let you try it and they are an awesome bow also
Ron, that bow looks like a toy with you holding it. :D
Well I have a 58" shrew longbow and shoot it out of a Double Bull blind with no problem. And yes that bow in Ron's hand does look like a toy but I'm not telling him that. lol Mike
If Ron is holding it , it is a dangerous toy! Harry aka shrewpig
David - you can't go wrong with the Classic Hunter. I have shot and owned many great bows but this by far is the best. The Classic hunter is a Longbow but shoots better than any recurve I have owned and trust me I have owned a few.
If you make it to GLLI you can give my bow a test try and see what you think!
