Title: maple backed ipe
Post by: Scott F on August 02, 2007, 07:45:00 PM
New to the forum and wanted to post a couple pics of a bow that I recently finished for a friend's son.  He is currently in Iraq and will be missing his son playing in the final games in little league season.  His son is the star pitcher and has aspirations of one day playing for the Red Sox.  I thought it only fitting to name the bow for him - "Season Tickets".  I hope that someday when he is called up to the majors, he remembers the little people and sends the tickets my way!

The bow is a maple backed ipe that is 60" NTN and 30@24".  Any and all feedback is more than welcomed because my journey into making these bows is just beginning.  This is my third laminated wood bow.  Sorry for the quality of the photos.
