The Huntress line of stuff looks very interesting...I've been wanting some scent containment in a conditoner and hairgel.  The hand lotion is a great idea, as well.  I am always looking for something to keep my hands supple during the winter months.

I use Nutrigena glycerin facial bar soap, unscented.  found in the "beauty" section, it cleans good and has NO smell afterwards.  Cheap too.

When I was a young boy at hunting camp I'd hear the old timers say... "Real hunters don't take showers, they don't even change their underware... Just turn them inside out after a few days!"  ...    ...

... mike ...    ...

yeah I can stay down wind but scent actually comes off you and falls to the ground when your going in or out which means you can spook the deer from that area just by walking in and out.  I've shot two deer directly down wind from me but I was wearing scentlock and using that hunters soap, wind could of been going over their heads who knows..

Dead Down Wind is a scent control product...works well. Scent Killer soap works good too. I've had deer look right through me in my ASAT and having used scent killer.

I've used the Dead Down Wind product line extensively and was part of the product development advisory team for the Huntress line (a DDW line).  I can tell you from my experience in hunting two full seasons with DDW products, they are the real deal.  Last season I killed five whitetails with stickbows...all but one  from a groundblind and at a distance in the 15 yd range...several from down wind.  Needless to say, I was impressed...and I still am.  DDW is the only scent control product I'll be using this year.

The nice thing about DDW is that they care about what we Trad hunters are looking for.  That is one of the reasons they asked me to be a part of their product development group.  I used prototype products all of last year and sent in feedback after every hunt.  The products I used were varied including the moisturizer, soap, shampoo, hair gel, lip balm, foam, and several others (including prototype costmetics).  I still stand amazed at the afternoon when a 2 1/2 yr old seven point whitetail buck walked in from down wind on a rainy day and stood broadside at 15 yds.  He didn't even know what happened when my arrow hit him.
I still think paying attention to the wind and selecting good huning locations are vital, but when the wind switches unexpectedly or things somehow don't go as planned, DDW may give you an edge.
