anyone use limb skins from Alaska Bowhunting supply?? I have a fairly new osage recurve that is still pretty bright yellar.. and thinkin of usin these skins this fall, if it doesnt hurry up and darken some.. do they hold water if it rains?? do they affect the bows performance any?? any other input?? thanks Dave
They work great.Dont hold hardly any water as they are made from a spandex type material. If they do absorb some moisture they dry out real fast. They are light and dont effect performance that i can tell.I like em.They protect the bow from scratches and nicks and camaflouge it all at the same time.
I've been using them since 2003. They're moderately durably and have no noticable effect on bow performance. They like to collect burrs though, and if they get wet you should probably take them off to dry at the end of the day. Other than that, I really like them.
