Yesterday I clicked into the Traditional Classifieds, I thought. Instead, I clicked into the Sponsor Classifieds.
As I scrolled down I saw a thread advertising one of Doug's prototype 3-Piece T/D Turkey Creek longbows for sale. Suffice it to say the bow will soon be headed my way. Below are pics of the bow.

Jake,
It was purely by accident that I clicked into the wrong forum. The rest just kind of naturally flowed from there. :biglaugh:
Bill
Yup, I saw it and was very tempted. Thye look like sweet shooters, I know Dougs one piece smokes. I will own one shortly. Shawn
Bill - funny how our instinct takes over and a MO just miraclously appears in the mail for the exact amount of the new bow... You have finely honed your bow buying skills for that kind of "natural" action to take place...Good for you. :clapper:
Jake
PayPal works even better and quicker!

:biglaugh:
I had the pleasure of looking that bow over when they had that shoot in WEST VIRGINA and it looks better in person!!!And thats hard to believe Congratulations

Dean,
Thanks! I'm looking forward to receiving it and shooting it. As it stands right now, I'll probably have 2 T/D longbows and hopefully 1 T/D recurve for the hunting season. If I don't receive the T/D recurve in time, this will be the first time my primary bow has been a longbow for hunting season. But I'll be ready!
Bill
That bow was a great deal. I'm surprised that it lasted as long as it did. Good for you, Bill. This one should keep you entertained until your Thermal comes!

Claudia,
I had no idea it was there. Had I not hit Sponsor Classifieds by mistake, I still wouldn't know it.
And you are absolutely correct. It was a fantastic deal. And you know me I can't pass up a great deal on a bow. Ahhhh, I'll say it, I find it hard to pass up a bow period!
I've been keeping my eye on the Turkey Creek threads and when I saw this 3-Piece T/D prototype, it doesn't look like one to me, I jumped on it. Oh well, a man/woman can't have too many bows. Most everybody agrees with that except my wife! :biglaugh:
Bill
I touched it by accident in West Virginia. I was reaching for another bow on his rack, and my hand brushed against it. Sorry. It should prolly still shoot okay, though, just not quite as good as if I hadn't been near it.

Killie,
Wow, thanks for the pic. It is gorgeous. I'm sure your touching it injected some Mojo into the bow!
Bill
It did that all right!
But, am I a good (um  ) witch or a bad witch? :D
Killdeer ;)
:biglaugh: Congrats Bill
Congrats Bill that is an awesome bow. I was looking at it hard but hadn't put enough cash together. I have been wanting one of Doug's bows ever since he offered me one on a trade. I regret not doing it. I'll have one in the future for sure.
Bill good for you! That bow is a beauty and one of a kind.I too was tempted because I know from experience the quality of bow the man makes. I also was surprised it lasted as long as it did. Enjoy ,good shooting, and good hunting.
Thanks folks. I'm looking forward to receiving and shooting it.
Bill
That's beautiful Bill, I'll bet that will drive tacks for sure.
I found a bargain of my own at Denton Hill during the swap meet. It had a $100.00 tag on it and made by the guy who was selling it. I asked him why so cheap and he said he couldn't get more because it wasn't a big name bow. He had made if for himself and shot it a few years. He made it from cherry and clear glass. It shoots great and I now own it. I think it's gorgeous.
The bow is a reflex design and 62", 59#@28.

George,
You didn't mention it was a T/D. That is a sweet looking bow. A bit too heavy for my old shoulders, but a sweet looking bow. I love the leather on the grip.
Bill
Wow you guys scored BIGTIME! CONGRATS!<><
Frank,
Thanks! The new set of antler bolts are going to look GREAT on this bow. You do some great work, good buddy!

Hmmm, I wouldn't classify you as a witch at all. You're one of the real sweethearts of the TradGang clan. At least that's what Bernie says! :biglaugh:
Bill
Oh, I know I'm not really a witch. :scared: ).
It's just that I didn't want to say stitch online. Whoops. Did I say stitch? I really meant twitch . Oh chiggerbites. It's something like that. Rhymes with itch. :D
