I am very surprised to see Gold-tips right up there, I have shot all the brands and they do not hold up near as well as most of the others. Carbonwoods were very nice, now I believe GT is making them, so we will have to see. Shawn

I've found beman ventures to be extremely tough, and you can find them for $49/dozen.  I just bought 6 dozen-

I like my carbon express heritage shafts. They have passed the "bounce off the rocks" test more than once for me.

A number of years ago when carbons started to come into the trad scene i seemed to have tried everything that was available as it came down the pike. Once I settled on a shaft I found that the next year something about the shaft would change. AD was a wonderful shaft until they started to mess around with arrow spine for traditional shafts. I then decided that if I wanted consistency from year to year and to have the ability to get components that fit my shafts (before they were discontinued) that I needed to get back to Easton since they seemed to make a great shaft and rarely changed things and rarely dicontinued a good product. I fell in love with the Axis and later the Bemans. Can't think of a single reason to use a different shaft.

The ICS Ventures are a great bargain. The only difference between them and the regular ICS Hunters is .006 tollerance instead of .004. And I don't know about anyone else, but I sure can't shoot the difference.

It seems that many of the carbon shaft brands are, in fact, made by a limited number of manufacturers.
Doesn't mean that they the same or even similar but only a relatively limited number of actual makers.

All that said I have enjoyed full length Carbon Rebels.
