I received a package in the mail today from Shell with these inside. If this doesn't get me a bull this fall I don't know what will!

Also included in the package were some samples from the St Jude's quiver she donated this year and on which I was the lucky winner. It will be made from elephant hide with lioness fur trim. What a stunning combination this is going to be! I can't wait to see the results of what she comes up with for a design!

Those are SWEET! You will have to bring that quiver to Kzoo...
When is that dead of winter shoot you guys go to? You camp in the tipi for that one?
There is a winter shoot each year at Rib Mountain Bowmen (I think that's right - I haven't been up there myself.) No tenting it that time of year for me. Couldn't get the stakes in the ground!
Good luck on the sheep hunt Steve. Do you leave this weekend? I'll be waiting for pictures and stories!
To cool Whip.
That quiver is going to be so sweet you lucky dog.
I may have to cash in some miles for that one...
We leave Monday and will arrive at the cabin in Fairplay Thursday. Keep your fingers crossed and THANKS! I am looking forward to telling a quick story ;) here...
I'm looking forward to the elk stories; what are the specs on that bow? Arrows, broadhead???
Robertson Vison Falcon, 62", 57 @ my 29" draw. I think I'm settling in on GT Traditionals with Wenzel Woodsmans and 250 grains up front. Total arrow weight is 530 grains. I've played around trying to add more weight, but I get the best flight with this set up, and I don't think sloppy flight will be offset by extra weight.
And you don't have to go making your story too short on our account. We love the long drawn out ones. You have the whole month - enjoy every minute!
I've become quite a Sticshooter and Shell collector of late. Got these two beauties from Frank a couple of weeks ago. Very cool work as always!

She is just beautiful! I ALMOST hate to think about her being cut into pieces for a quiver. (But I sure am glad she is going to!)
