Well I just love Norm's bows and recently received my custom made Elite Vl. My brother Nakohe found a Blacktail Limited Edition and I just loved the looks of it so went on a search and found one for sale. Got it today and it is a looker and shooter.

Danny,
That is one great looking Blacktail. I have just never seen a bad looking one. Who did the elk in the sight window?
Louis
Way to go Bro. No we have twin bows. LOL
Blacktails are lookers for sure!
NICE
Oooohhhh!!!!
Sweet looking bow Danny.
Wow...I'm mean WOW. Did I say wow?
Josh
Jake, we have Sambar deer here, have not scored on a stag yet, couple of does. Very tough to hunt in the thick jungle they like to stay in.
Louis, do not know who did the elk carving.
Thanks for the comments. yep Bubba they are almost identical, yours is a little fancier with the high gloss finish and the footed limbs.
Danny
Awsome looking bow!
Cheers,
Donavan
Nice bow Danny, congrats!
Norm does the elk head engraving on the riser. My Elite has the same design.
They just don't get any better than that. Very nice.
God willing mine will draw first blood in Quebec in about 30 days. I can hardly wait.
Donald
Well now that depends Bubba, the pigs are screaming in the jungle behind the house so am going in tomorrow morning to see if I can pick up some meat and I am taking the Limited on her first walk in the jungle. Almost had a nice boar two days ago but the wind swirled on me before I could take the shot.

Exactly what Oliverstacy said !
That engraving is oh so purty!!!!!!
Jake
nice bow and seemingly no lack of targets in your yard!
Man what a beautiful bow! I've got some nice bows, but there are a bunch out there I've not seen in person. Norm's bows have really caught my eye and I've been wanting to shoot one. I'm gonna keep an eye out for one at the trad shoot in AL next weekend.
Congrats Danny.!!
Beauty!!
:clapper: :clapper:

Perfect wood combination Danny.
I have never shot one, but I know in my opinion there is not a better consistant beautiful bow maker out there. I have loved the looks of every bow of his I have ever seen.
But I'm utilitarian by nature. I would hate to take that out in the woods.
Thought I would show a pic of all three of my keepers in the rack.Top to bottom

Love the way that myrtle looks....nice bows all the way around!
Friggin awesome bows!!
Danny; that's a real beauty for sure. I wasn't aware that you were stationed over there on that island.I've been having lots of fun with my arrows taht you sent me, thanks again, Dan Gillenwater.
Beautiful bow, beautiful rack of bows. You Rowan boys certainly got taste in spades, I'll say that fo sho!
Danny, can I have dibs on the ebony Blacktail...I mean, just in case you get a wild hair? Course, I'll certainly agree to an "escape clause: I make a deal with all the bows I sell now....if you ever decide to sell it after buying it from me, at least give me rights of first refusal. I know...it's not leaving the rack...but just in case ;)
Triplets to be proud of for sure!!
And I love that Elk carving.
Nice looking Bow.. :)

Your a lucky man to have a rack loaded like that, Danny. Sweet looking bows there! I had a older Blacktail years ago (all murtle TD) and understand Norm changed his limb design and is getting some really good performance out of his bows. Ever since he came out with that footed riser, I have always desired to own one. These types of posts just remind me of the kind of work he does and I really need to get in line. Being the other half just returned to work after almost a year off due to the pregnancy/birth of our daughter, I may have to see what his turn around time is sooner then I thought! Thanks for sharing!
