Post by: geno on July 23, 2007, 10:58:00 PM
I just sealed two shafts. One with polyurethane liquid plastic and the other with tung oil. Any guesses on how fletch tite platinum with work

Should do just fine.

If it doesn't work, try Duco or better yet, fletch tape.

Depending on the bow poundage and target medium, the poly sealed arrow may be a bugger to pull.  I tried it years ago with a heavier draw weight and the poly melted and glued the shaft to the target--a real devil to pull.  I use an epoxy finish for mine.

Yeper I have found that the fletch tape sticks to just about anything you can put on your arrrows, but I agree Charlie the fletch glue should work fine!

Also in agreement with LBR on the Polyurethane finish's as it does seem to do as he says, however I just Armour'al the shafts every once in awhile and that seems to work pretty good.
