I HAVE A 26" DROW A BOW OF 49 LBS 53" LONG MY ARROW WEIGHT IS 413 GRAINS CARBON. DO I NEED A HEAVIER ARROW THEY SHOOT FINE BUT ?
I like a little heavier arrow than that but if they are shooting good I think that should be plenty. I like an arrow around 10grs. per #. I get good penetration and a quiet bow from this. GOODLUCK, DAVE
I would keep that arrow weight. I will soon be shooting a 53#@30" bow and 485gr. Victory carbon shafts. It is around 8.8 gr/lb and shoots about 212fps.
It depends on what your goals are.
Are you going to hunt cape bufallo or are you going to hunt just deer?
If you are going to hunt deer, your set up is more than adequate...just make sure your bow and arrows are tuned to the best of your ability, which I suggest any and every archer pursue.

In addition to 413 grains of carbon, your gonna need some butter, garlic, and onions. ;)
MY GOAL IS 10 GR/LB BUT THE SHORT DROW KIND OF HINDERS THAT. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?
THANK'S ALL FOR THE HELP. GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEM SELVES,HE HELPS ME WITH OTHERS THANKS
If you want 10g./lbs. try a stiffer Easton Axis arrow with steel inserts, steel point adapters and heavy heads.
What you will end up with is a heavy skinny arrow that has a high FOC which will be a lean, mean, penetrating machine.

try a 500 axis arrow they seem to fly good for me as i have a 26" draw and shoot a 48# bow . good luck with that trad
