My hunting limbs died today.... the upper limb on my Bear Mag TD delaminated and came apart just as I came to full draw this morning. Fortunately, I was not hurt... just very surprised and depressed.
This was a #2 limb 45# that I intended to hunt with this season. Since I am just back to shooting from a bad back injury, I am having problems with anything heavier. I do have a #1 50# set of limbs, but I really feel it when I try to shoot them... So I guess it is a lot of back tuning so I can hunt those this season.
The good news is that I spoke to Kevin at RER and he is still making replacement limbs to the same design as his custom limbs and at a price that is more than reasonable... Bad news is delivery is May 2008, but I will be ordering a set to replace the delaminated set... he said the new limbs will be a lot smoother and faster than the original Bear limbs.... I can't wait.

Yep Kevin makes great limbs for those bows. Static tips shoot smooth and fast. I shot them awhile back and they were sweet.<><
