AWESOME pics Jason!!<><
If you look on the left sid of that canoe(front) last fall I was slipping into my island in the first week of november at about 4:00 am and when I got close to shore I couldn't see the thin sheet of ice.,, 4:00 am ,when I hit that ice with an aluminum canoe and it sounded like I hit an ice berg,,LOL,, Never saw a deer on that all day hunt and I should have,,LOL,,JB
Hey Jason, the picture of your boy, holding the bow is PRICELESS, it should be on the cover of TBM. John
Heck Yeah, Pizza sause and all,,That would be awsome,,LOL,,
That pic has my vote.
When your children are old, that is what they will remember about you.
I wouldn't trade those memories of my grandfather for anything.
You are truly a rich man. :campfire:
Very cool.

Very nice. Spend time with them when they are young and they will spend time with you when you're old.
Thanks fellas For the Kind words,, I love to include them as much as possible,,wether its holding dads bow or holding arrows and when they get big enough start shooting,,My daughter shoots a 9# rhino longbow,,Nice bow for the kids,,she didn't want to do any shooting just watching and playing ball,,
BP, That RER is 56" 53#@28" little river,,very nice bow.
Hey Jason, looks like ya needs ta practice... It's pretty sad when ya hafta get the little big man ta pick up your slack. He was the last one with the bow in hand before the picture of that nice group... Right???? LOL
Good job dad! That's the stuff that really matters.
I have a feeling the little big man will be picking up my slack before too long,,But I aint ganna let him know it,,LOL,, It'll be like (hey go out tonight and hang the treestands and build the ground blinds and tune da bows,,LOL,, Honestly I can't wait till hes old enough to shoot and start having fun with me in the woods,,
My daughter and I did a 3-D range tonight and she is so honest about the shot,,,,OH DAD! ya missed it,  ,Ya won't be disapointed in the end result,,Jason B.

!["" "[dntthnk]"]("graemlins/dntthnk.gif")
,LOL,,
Jason,
Ya said it all. I have a grandson who is my #1 slack-taker-upper (and I ain't kiddin). I've only beat him in score twice in the last 2 years (and it really hurts when he beats me from my stakes). He's 13 and has been OSTA 'Shooter Of The Year' for the last 2 years. We have great times together. I do hate it when he asks me if I want him to pull his arrow so I'll have a clear shot at the kill zone :banghead: . I always get nice words about his mammers and behavior. I really believe that's largely due to the Trad folks we hang out with. I believe kids really do mimick what they experience. We usually take some of his friends along with us and it's amazing how differently they act under good influences. I do catch some flack from some parents about their kids wanting to chew jerky all the time when I bring 'em home. :biglaugh: Keep up the good work... like ya said "Ya won't be disappointed".
Those are some awesome pics Jason  Hanging with the family doing what you love is what it's all about!
I need to get my boy out shooting, about the same age as yours if I remember correctly... I have been too busy this summer trying to get him casting the flyrod, LOL!! He does ok flinging it but then gets bored and tries to break it by beating it into the ground! I did get him wading in the AuSable River with me this past weekend, water temp about 63 Degrees and he was loving it, had him up to his waist and he couldn't get enough, just walking around with Daddy and throwing rocks!
See you this weekend bud,
Kevin.
Good on ya Jason! That is what it is all about right there! Your kids are a couple of cuties. You are a blessed man!
God bless you Jason! You have a good heart my friend!
A big hearted man from the Heartland of America.
you go big guy. Made my day.
Bow nut,,Your grand son sounds like a heck of a shot,,I'll just avoid the range when hes shootin,,LOL,,
Kevin, Thats awsome your gettin your boy in the river already,, Black Rihno makes a nice youth long bow for the little ones,,$65 and you can always pass it on to another in need cause its built nice too,,
Kevin,Jeff,,can't wait to see ya this sat.
Thanks M522 and Doc for the kind words,,
Its post like this that actually make me stop and think of what can I do to pass on ,carry on ,or give to someone the wonderfull experience of archery and when you folks post such nice response's of blessings and words of encouragement its really nice to hear, I always hope to inspire someone else to stop and think about (what could I do)...I tell ya what,, I've been inspired from all of YOU all of you have had a hand in me learning the art of giving back right here on tradgang,, THANKYOU
Even if I am working on my tan,,gotta get rid of the hat lines and my neck isn't red enough yet for this summer, << Jason B.
