First we want to say thank you all. This is a great site and we are proud to be a sponsor.
As parents of a child with Down Syndrome we are members of many organizations including our local organization Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks (DSGO). Today, as often happens, I was reminded of how fortunate we are to have a healthy 3 year old. In that same moment, I found yet another reason to be a proud member of the archery community...specifically Trad Gang.
Today, a family, and member of the DSGO headed for St. Jude's Hospital with their 11 month old daughter (a child with an extra chromosome...DS) after just learning that she has been diagnosed with Leukemia.
Trad Gangers, you raised $70,000 that will help this little girl, Rylee (who shares my son's name...Riley) to fight this frightening disease.
Just wanted to share this with you so that you can hold your heads high and be so proud of your unselfish gifts during the recent St. Jude's auction.
Thank you and please, keep Rylee and her parents in your prayers.
Sincerely proud to know you!!!

The members here are the absolute best in my book and when I think of the good works done here this crusty old heart softens a little.
Yup, some great people here. Terry and the gang DONE GOOD!!! Scott and Mindy you are a big part of it, you guys and many others donate to The Joan Leonard Memorial Bunny Hunt and we send the proceeds to St. Judes as well. Thanks to everyone on this great site! Shawn

Scott,
I have taught children with special needs for a good number of years. In all my life I have never found more beautiful people on earth than the children I have taught with Downs Syndrome. It seems to me that they are free of the many failings of most human beings...and are infinitely more happy and at peace in a true deep sense. God bless Riley and your entire family. If you ever want to talk I am here.
