Title: Eye Candy Part 2
Post by: Golden Hawk on July 19, 2007, 06:11:00 PM
When 1/4 away posted the pics of his new Timberghost he titled it Eye Candy. After talking with Fred and Nob I ordered a T-ghost. Well it got here today and is Absolutely Beutiful! It even has the riser crafted of a piece of osage grown a couple miles from my house. so here are a couple pics for you to see.

Shoots good guys. Nice and quick and it's very quiet. I also got a set of Birdseye Maple recurve limbs from Norb for it so I can either shoot the 51@28 56" longbow limbs or the 54@28 54" recurve limbs. I like it! This is the other bow I'm taking to Canada this fall. Time for some real serious tuning now in prep for bear!

Shawn, I'll keep that in mind but you need to recover first Bud!

Now that LeRoy's is done, Kent is getting started on bow for another well-traveled TradGanger. You know, the one who can't stay on the right side of the border.....  ;)

We'll have to get on Border Bob to let us know when his is done! By the way Norb you were right about them recurve limbs. they shoot really nice.

Can you believe how slim and beautiful those limb tips are on the recurve? Watch someone else shoot your bow and look at how they uncurl. It's a beautiful thing!

Leroy, Does he make them in longer longbow limbs too? Like 62"? That sure is a puty bow ya got there man. I've seen pics of Norb's posted on here before too and they are just drop dead purty!

Mine is supposed to be 58", but when it is strung, it is the same physical length as my 60" Zipper recurve when strung. Shoots like a "long" bow... I think the riser on mine is a bit longer than LeRoys..

Post by: Golden Hawk on July 20, 2007, 05:38:00 PM
Mine is the short riser Norb.
