If anyone remembers "the 4th world" story, you'll remember that I succeesed in taking a hog after I dreamed all day long about shooting one. This is a photo of that hog. Well, I secretly wanted at least one cover before I grow old and fade into obscurity. Thanks Cody! I appreciate you trying to promote trad archery through your great new magazine. I hope it inspires others to try their luck-the hard way! CK
 :notworthy:
I appreciate the photo CK....Have had a lot of folks comment on the beauty of the bow and ask about shooting Trad.....With the help of Jeff Massie (WBUSA Archery Editor)we plan to promote Trad archery whenever we can!
There have been others from TG that have sent in trad photos and they will be printed in the future.
Thanks for everyones support!
If anyone who has not seen the mag wants a back issue....the first copy is on me....just PM me with your address.
Pretty cool being on a magazine cover, Kellar. And a nice hog too.
I'm GONNA get down south one of these years for som Javvy and pig chasin'!
Chris
Cody, Since we kinda spoke on the fly yesterday I'll post the bow specs for your folks questioning its make, etc. Its a Horne Traditionalist made by Mark Horne outside of Dallas, Texas. He's ol friends with Jeff Massie.
The speca are 64" long and a draw weight of 53#@28". I think I told you it was 47#. It also has the bow-bolt take-down system. I have a twin sister to this bow except it's a Brushbow its 49#@28". I draw about 27". Hope that helps. Tell Jeff I said hello. CK
Thanks CK....have had people asking...
:scared: I shared a camp with you, AND YOUR REALLY A GIRL  Not what I had in mind for a pin up. A hog that is.

Robin, you should recognize the bow. You watched me pack and peddal that bow all over Northern Oregon. I think of that trip often. It was certainly a great trip cept for the snow! Tell Cindy I said hello. CK
I thought that was the bow CK. Cindys keeping your ATM all tuned up and ready for your next trip :D
I went in about a month ago and picked up the supply's that the snow kept us from reaching. I was the first pickup past the gate, only cut about 21 trees outta the road
!["" "[dntthnk]"]("graemlins/dntthnk.gif")
Saw 3 nice bulls in velvet and a dumb little buck that just stood and watched the pickup rattle by.
Cindy said I couldn't use her horse trailer if I was gonna pull it up that road. She thought I needed my own trailer and don't ask ta borrow her horses
Congrats bro, well deserved.
