I've been shooting a reverse riser LB and really like the inherent accuracy. Is there anyone out there that makes a reverse riser lb "64 and over with either mild r/d or r/d?
Something like the Northern Mist Whisper with Baraga limbs?
Cutty, you named it, the Northern Mist Wisper would come to mind as a first choice. Ever try one? Steve Turay makes a mighty fine bow.
I shoot a Northwing Gem & feel the same way yoy do. I like the accuracy & feel. They are made by Jerry Figel near Buffalo NY. Mike
Hatrick, haven't had the pleasure yet...but that very well might be my next bow.
I wonder if Steve would make me a Baraga with a reverse riser....hmmm...
no, do you have any contact info, pics of the Northwing Gem. Sounds like my kind of stick.
Acadian Woods makes a good one.
Steve Turay of Northern Mist has started to make the Whisper with a little bit of a locator in the grip. I shot one at Comptons and it is a great shooting bow. I would give him a call and see if you can work something out.
Yep the reverse risers tend to torque less for those of us who really like to hold onto the riser. And they look neat.
jimneye, great call on the Acadian Woods bow! I was just looking at the site and a "66 Cajun Hunter seems like it would fit the bill perfectly.
I've never shot or owned one, but have always admired their looks. And he's a sponsor here too.
Thanks.
I have a reverse handle Fox longbow that is 66" long.Great shooting bow and high quaility bow and Ron King is a great guy to deal with.My buddy has a 66" reverse handle Fox also,it is his main hunting bow.
You wouldn't happen to have a pic of your reverse handled Fox, would you JRY309. I was just checking the Fox site but couldn't find one.
