Title: Tale of Two Gloves
Post by: NoCams on July 13, 2007, 05:02:00 PM
HI Guys,
Recently ditched a tab and went back to glove. Bought two to try from 3 Rivers. Their exclusive glove with the Kevlar tips and the Alaskan with the cordovan tips. The Kevlar feels the best on the string, but I can initially shoot the cordovan better. Will post again after shooting all weekend.....

I just checked the 3R website and didn't see a glove with Kevlar tips. Can you post a picture or the stock/item number?
Thanks

Could the Kevlar tip gloves be the new Cordura gloves from 3Rivers?  Cordura is a super tough nylon.

HI Guys,
ooops, it is Cordura, and not Kevlar. Stock # is 4040X on page 41 in new 3 Rivers catalog, top right.

I shot all day now for two days and I like the Cordovan glove # 4427X the best. The Cordura glove seems a little thin and I am shooting 60lb bows and getting a little pain in the crease of my middle finger with the Cordura glove. However, my son loves the Cordura and promptly shot my pants off today on a 3D course. Think I will order me another Cordovan # 4427X and stick with it for now.

Dachba,
It is a Dwyer longbow 52lbs @ 28", but at his draw he is pulling about 42lbs.

Thanks for the update NOCAMS. I'm getting ready to order a glove and this will help.
