The mail came today with some new toys to try out on my new target.

First up a Toelke Whip. 45@27 60" Ebony riser and Bamboo limbs. Love the grip. Took a few sets to get some grouping with this one.

Now the RER Vortex. Black glass, Bubinga riser. Another easy to like grip. Shot well with this one right from the first three arrows.

Dave nice shooting as usual. How bout some specs on the Vortex!!?? MMMM black glass.My kinda bows Bud. Does the Vortex have Boo cores?

I saw that Vortex for sale the other day right after it was posted. I hesitated though. By the time I got back, you had jumped on it. Awesome price you paid. I'm still kicking myself for hesitating on that one.

That Vortex looks a lot like my Super Shrew and if it shoots like it too I can see why you got instant good groups. Dave, do they feel/shoot similar?

The Vortex is 3#s lighter and has Maple Cores instead of Bamboo like the Samurai. The grip is a little fuller on the Vortex. They shoot very similar, but the Bamboo and extra few pounds do make a noticeable difference in speed.
