can someone show me a pic of what un stained red elm limbs look like

Here is a pic of a Chek-Mate Firebird that I used to own.

The Limbs are Red Elm and the Riser is Chechen.  I think red elm makes a very attractive limb wood.

that trad point looks hollowed out and glued on.Is that right? or my bad eyes

It has a tang that slips into a nock cut in the arrow, then wrapped with artifical sinew.

These limbs are flat grain stained red elm. Unstained is a blond color about like Ash.

Darkly stained red elm limbs are one of my favorites.  The next bow I purchase will have definitely have them.
