Anybody know if they are made? If so, who carries them?
What kind of arrows are you using? I have carbons that I use 160gr heads on. I bought the arrow weighting system where you screw into the back of the insert any weight you want! I works great. With the 160gr heads I can add 50gr. If I have some 125 heads I can add a 2 50gr. weights or a 20gr and 50gr. until I get the arrow flight I desire. You can screw in any number of weights.
Snag,
Carbons (Carbon Express - Heratage). Is that the one 3-R carries? If not, where from?
You'll have to play with weights or weight tubes to try that out. They have 200 and 250 grain points at both 3r and KK.
I use 220g points, I make them myself, 145 field point (or Eclipse broadhead)epoxy in a 75g steel adapter. This is a vey strong setup (I don't like the aluminum broadhead adapters). I also do the same with my Judo points,,FRank
Ontario Longbow,
Kind of where I was leaning.... The PDP weight system is a tad $$$$$.

Hey Bob,, I also shoot the Carbon Express Heretage shafts, they come in at 600g's, IMHO the best carbon shafting for hunting out there,, All the best,,Frank
It doesn't take much to turn down a 250 to 225, I do it all the time. I've done many with a file and a drill press. Just chuck an old insert in and work a good sharp file against the rotating surface. Just weigh them frequently till you get a feel for how much to remove. Then you can set your calipers and go to work. Of course it's a lot faster with a lathe.
I have used a 125 gr. glue on point with a 100 gr. steel adapter. I don't like aluinum adapters either.
