Title: ? replacing the foam insert in a great northern quiver
Post by: BTH on July 01, 2007, 01:46:00 PM
Well, it's time to change out the foam insert in my great northern quiver. So I bought an insert and it didn't come with directions...Anyone know how to get those inserts out? And put the new one back in?
Thanks,
Toby

I haven't tried that particular quiver, but with mine, I just stick a pair of pliers into two holes made by my arrows and pull the old insert out.

It's just a tension fit.  Pull the old one out and press the new on in. dino

Thanks. I did manage to figure it out I was just worried that those clip-looking things had something to do with keeping the foam in.

I think the only purpose for the piece of metal it to keep folks from pushing their broadheads through the top og the quiver. Kind of a safety feature.
