Title: First Back Quiver Attempt PICS
Post by: DEERSLAYER1961 on June 30, 2007, 10:09:00 AM
I finally made my first back quiver, and here are some PICS.  It is all hand laced with a piece of Caribu for the trim.  You opinions are appreciated.

That is one great back quiver.  I love the clean lines and tastefully done.

Looks good.  I really like the caribou trim.  Do you have trouble with the caribou hide shedding?

Yellowsnake,

I just finished it today so I'm not really sure, but I can tell you it sheds quit a bit when trimming, but it seems to have stoped once brushed.

Very nice Mike.   I am curious too if the caribou sheds.  I can tell you that it sheds ALOT when you are skinning them.   Fish pics from yesterday coming your way....Mark

Like Dennis said...beautiful lines!
Nice choice in colors and Mike I love the bobcat fur on yours.

I've been working on caribou for years and should'nt shed if they are kept well preserved and have been tanned right.
After that, they should wear for years without any problems on a quiver.

What do you have in the bottom to keep broadheads from going through?

The quiver looks great!
