go a new bow that is much lighter than what i am used to shooting., and am in need of arrows. i think i want a finished weight of 475 to 500 grains for flatter trajectory. what would you recommend? 29 inch arrow.
You could shoot about 50 different arrows...axis/beman 500's, 2016/2018's, CE 150's, GT 35/55, Vapor's, AD lights, blah, blah...
Maybe narrow down what you want in the arrow - alum, carbon, wood...type of bow, etc...
r/d longbow. carbon or aluminum.
See list above...others will chime in with more options.
last year before my shoulder started bothering me, I was shooting 52 lbs at 27".
shooting beman black max 500's, 28.25" bop with 4" four fletch, 5" wraps and 200 grain tips. total arrow weight 491 grains. laser beams
when using the skinny shafts like axis or the mfx, how did you get 200 up front? i wouldnt mind doing that but i dont want to tear up my targets and almost kill myself pulling them out of 3d targets.
2016, or a carbon with a 500 spine
for that bow I'd say Arrow Dynamics Trad Lite with standard inserts cut 30" with 160-175 grain points. I am shooting a similar setup from 49-53@28 bows both recurve and longbow. Fantastic flight.

hawgslayer.....aka, Ray :jumper:
you can buy 200 grain tips with the backs tapered, it doesn't take it down flush to the arrow, but it's close
You can also get 100 grain brass inserts fo rthe Axis 500 and shoot a 125 grain 17/64th. tapered tips. They are available at Kustom King and other places! Shawn
this is hunt4life. i think im going to go with the carbon express terminators. should i go with the 45/60 of the 60/75 with 225 up front cut the 29 inches? thanks
adam
Might try 2114 aluminums if you don't want a real heavy arrow.
