Title: RER VORTEX with PICS!
Post by: DEERSLAYER1961 on June 21, 2007, 09:23:00 PM
A few PICS of my new RER Vortex I just bought from (SSWV)  What a great shooting bow it is. Sedua {sp} riser, black glass limbs with red accent stripe... 60" 49#@28"  This bow is fast. quiet, and points very well. I have to say Danny was a fantastic person to deal with, and I can't say enough good things about him.  Thanks again.... geno,

This bow has ZERO, and I mean ZERO handshock.  The bow is super smooth to draw as well.  I don't think you will have a sore elbow shooting this bow.

Gotta get that bow out to zone 8. Low harvest numbers last year have the deer population at an alltime high. Nice bow. Forward handles are supposed to be real nice shooters.

Yep, Danny is a class act.  I bought a bow from him (two actually) a couple months back and the service couldn't have been better.

That is a great looking bow by the way.  I really want to shoot one of those Vortex someday...that and a Shrew.  Enjoy the new toy!

Nice bow!! I just got mine yesterday. Bubinga riser with 2 curly maple stripes,action-boo limb cores and waterfall bubinga venneers. Mine is 58"s and 47#s at 28"s. I will tell ya that this bow smokes an arrow and has no handshock at all. The only thing was that mine had a bit of string vibration so I added two rubber whiskers and quiet as a mouse. Sue and Kevin are great and their son makes a great string as well(he should sell them!)They also have several in-stock Vortexs as that is what I bought mine from. I ordered it Monday night and had it Thursday by noon. Try one and you will want it!! Shawn

I shot the coarse at Blackhawk with one a couple years ago.  If I didnt already own a couple of 54" recurves, I would have bought that one.  Very fast and easy to control accurately.  I have a sensitive elbow and have passed on other well known longbows, but that one didnt bother me at all.

Came close to driving up there this weekend.  Sounds like you had some pleasant temperatures compared to the lower part of the state.  Always love spending a weekend with everyone at Blackhawk Field Archers.  Craig
