Here in Ontario our season opens Oct. 1st...102 days away :readit: :knothead: :banghead: I have some carp to kill..but still, it is a long, long way away...
So, how do you all kill time until it arrives?
I have been following some drills Jay Kidwell has provided for me. They have helped me immeasurably. I'm going to work on some arrows, shoot alot of arrows, scout, and test all the new bows I have coming( 4 of them).
So, lets here it, how do YOU get to the season?

Cary, I'm wondering if you counted the days before moose?
Sep. 8, here in NC.
Mid-Aug., I believe; south of the border, in SC.

It's good they want em but there all in michigan and i'm here in tennesee sweating instead of showing them how to sweat like the rest of us. So mostly i will be sweating until season starts and during it. good luck guys and gals
July 14th in my section of California. Not much more time to kill. I've been hunting pigs and turkey, crabbing since November (which closes the end of the month) and salmon fishing. Shooting 3d and dreaming of my Africa trip this August.

BTH, Your'e going to have to tell us about your Africa trip when you get back! Good hunting. Frank
season comes in here september 15th. it's kind of bitter sweet though cuz i want season to come but when it gets here it means we have to go back to school.
I hear ya, Big Dog, fly rods and longbows seem to go together! Fishin' is good, but will only hold me off for so long. I've already started stalking groundhogs, and about the middle of August I'll put down the fishing rods, and start to focus on what's important.
