Well I am no arrowsmith but I do like to make an arrow everyonce in a while. Made these up over my weekend. 18 total, six with white fletch, flo yellow cap with simple gold crest, flow yellow nock dark stain fore shaft,12 with yellow fletch, flo green cap, yellow nocks and simple black crest, natural foreshaft. Oh, Alaskan Forgewood shafts spined 75#. What ya think?

You should be able to find them easy if you miss. They do look nice.
Hey! them look cool!
Look nice to me Danny  :campfire:
Just goes to show...not arrows don't need any fancy cresting to look great. Good job, Danny...
Hey Danny,
There's no excuse for losing those!! Are these for the new Border? What's the final weight going to be?

I think I'd like to see one of those in a pig soon. Very nice Danny.
Where do the batteries go ????????????????
Great looking arrows Danny...why didn't ya put some helical on those feathers? ;)
LOL, yeah Charlie I like the helical. they are bright, but my old eyes need bright to see the arrow in flight. They shoot just fine out of the Border and the Blacktail. Terry, with 125 gr 5/16" field points they are 760 grains. With the broadheads, they will be a tad heavier. I likes heavy. Out to 30 yards they fly perfect and supprisingly flat tragectory from both bows.
Danny
purty nice !!!!!
ahhhh my retnas...
Looks good ...
My kind of arrows Danny the brighter the better. They should be very easy to see on the way to "the spot".Great job. They'll look even better with blood on them.
Youch Bro, You blinded my good eye with those. Talk about bright. Should have no problem finding those.LOL Gret job BTW.
Donald
My kind of arrows, Danny, (way wrong spine - LOL) - the kind you can SEE!
Danny did you dip or spay the caps? what paint did you use (brand name)? i like em! nothing fancy, but sure are functional.
Danny; Nice job on the arrows should make it easier for the eye to follow. I do the same thing with my arrows, I like them bright so that my brain can register the arrows flight and trajectory.
Not an "Arrow Smith" ????? How about artisan, craftsman,or very talented arrow builder....
Love that helical man! Great 3D arrows too...espeacially the way i shoot...finding them wouldn't be a problem....
Great jab bro!  :notworthy:
Danny, great looking shafts, what's your fletching setup? How do you get that much helical? Jr.
Gotta Love Them "Tracer Arrows" ... I make em up the same way ... Great for trajectory visualization ... Although you can still lose them in high grass and under leaves ... But then you just make more! ... Kinda win/win don't ya think?
... mike ... :wavey: ...
they seem to have quite a bit of helical.
Did you use a Jo-Jan fletcher?
hey real nice job danny
Thanks for the comments. The cap is sprayed with Krylon then sprayed the whole arrow with clearcoat. I suppose dipping would have been better but they turned out ok. Gotta make a dip tube for clear and the cap. But not sure I can buy the kyrlon for dipping. If not I will continue to spray the cap.
I use a six stage JoJan fletcher with left helical clamps. It really puts the helical in the fletch, mostly in the clamp design but you have to make sure the stand is set correctly.
Danny
Very nice bud :clapper:
I gotta truck that needs paintin. You hire out? :D
You certainly like them to spin. :bigsmyl:
Nice job!
Beware of eye cancer! These arrows are dangerous just looking at them :)
OK, I give up. Which one is the cock feather?
