Looking for something as durable as Spar Urethane. Anyone have experience with ProFin? Can you get it at hardware outlets?

I have not found it anywhere but mail order placed.  Do a google search under the name.  You will find it pretty cheap in quarts.

Good idea Warrior. This product is made north of me in Seattle, Wa.  They have an online store you can order it direct. I have had such good results with the spar urethane I am afraid to try something new though. I was hoping to hear from others experiences. The yellowing is a concern for me too Hot Hap.

It is my understanding that if the paint is a waterbased paint you can put the oilbased spar over it. It shouldn't bleed through or run.
