My wife sure loves me. She came to the rig to visit me tonight and brought me my Crow Creek Blackfeather I bought from joe vt and my Blactail Elite Special edition I bought from a guy on stickbow.
Theese are two of the prettiest bows I have seen. The Blacktail is 62" AMO 55# @ 30" and the riser is beautiful myrtle footed with wenge and the limbs are boo with wenge wedges and myrtle veneers footed with wenge. Absolutly gorgeous!!!
The Crow Creek is 62" AMO 50# @ 28" the riser is awesome bacote footed with ebony and the limbs have highly figured bacote veneers. I beleive Joe said they were boo limbs.
I can not wait to try them out tomorrow. I am so excited I probably will not sleep much tonight!!
I will try to post pics tomorrow.
Donald
You are indeed a lucky man My wife gave me a early fathers day present too, a crock pot exciting huh? I guess we're even though I got her arrows for mothers day Delin
So you're saying that your wife is an enabler eh Don? We'll have to talk about that at the next BAA meeting. :biglaugh:

Well, I wouldn't complain... Half my deer get cooked in the crock pot...
Nothing like a venison pot roast with taters, Vidalia onions, and carrots
But I usually do stew and chilli at least once a week through the winter...
But I enjoy eating em, almost as much as I do hunting them...
Gonna be a good year.... buy a bigger belt
Now, how much did you have to beg to get her to bring em, :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Can't wait to see the pics, bubba.
Yeah David we are gonna need a meeting real soon.LOL.
Danny
She was bringing me my medicine and ask if I needed anything. Sooo I told her and she brought them with minimal complaining. :bigsmyl: :goldtooth: :jumper: :jumper:
David, I second the need of a meeting. LOL
Donald
....and the sacrifice of waiting was building so much character, don't you feel cheated now? We do. You went and pulled a fast one and then gave a description with no pics. We're still waitin', and building character I suppose......
Can't wait to see the pics!! And remember, that first step is all about admitting your POWERLESSNESS !! :bigsmyl:
Shoot Straight

Your very welcome.
Yeah I am almost afraid to shoot it, it is so pretty. But, it would not be right to not put arrows through it. The guy I bought it from said he could not find it in his heart to shoot it much for fear of schratching it.
you send that blacktail to me and i'll shoot her !! :)
John and Juan,
We will have to meet up sometime and have a shoot. I'll bring em for you to see and maybe if you'r lucky to touch. :bigsmyl: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Donald
donald we work the south texas area zapata, county
Hey Coon,
Man that is BIG deer country. Do you get a chance to hunt around there?
Donald
Glad to see you we united with them...and of course your wife too! What would we do without them?
I am partial to those Blacktails and you've got a real looker.
I've got a friend that is working for an oil company in Texas. He is an explosives guy...unsticks drill bits at over 10,000ft. Sounds kind of interesting. He's been doing it for many years. Use to live in Alaska where he had his own company.
yes donald we do hunt, we own a 1200 acres and we also own 180 acres in the hill country.
what rig are you on
I am on Nomac 111. My lease is in Medina.
Man those are gorgeous!! You are a lucky man.
Enjoy!
Two beautiful bows Don. Never thought Joe would part with that Crow.
donald maybe us texas boys should get together for an ol fashion hunt
Coon, that sounds like a great idea to me. Anytime I am off I am up for it. I work 14 and 14. Be off again the 26 th.
