You'll make it back soon David. There will be plenty of carp left for you.

LMAO!
I think even I could have hit that one?
You guys using those nice recurves and longbows to bow fish with...
I can't break down and use my recurves to bowfish with.. I use my old whellie bow. I don't care if I scratch it up or break it :D
Maybe I'll find a cheep recurve to use sometime
WEEKEND WARRIOR if you shoot @ 1 THING enough you can hit anything. LOL!
That looks like fun guys! That's what my daughter wants to do this summer, but she's got a shoulder injury healing up right now...can't pull her bow just yet...
i've got an old 43# Ben Pearson recurve i was thinking of setting up for bow fishing...what do you think? Is it heavy enough? you think it will it work?
Kirk

Kirk
kirk, i was shooting 65# couch recurve, and arrow barley penitrated some of the bigger brutes heads, so i think if you shoot for the body you should have no problem getting thru with a 43# recurve. Jonesy
It looks like you boys had alot of fun. I'm looking forward to LeRoy driving all the way to Cloverdale to give me shooting lessons. Lord knows i need all the help i can get.
Chad, Don't expect me to be an instructor! My 3d shootin this year hasn't been to good either. But I'm fixin to start gettin serious in prep for the Septmber bear adventure.
LeRoy,
Where were you guys at shooting fish that big? Awful nice Arroyo to be shootin at fish... At a club I beling to near my house they are trying to get rid of some White Aimer carp out of their pond, these things are 20-25 lbs each and look like subs glidding through the water. Unfortunately they are pretty skittish and don't get real near the shore.
You going to Compton?
Shane I'm not coing to Compton this year. I need to find a beater bow to use. I wasn't real crazy about using my Arroyo yesterday.
Nice pics LeRoy :) , carp up here are still not quite ready to spawn, but it is coming soon, verrry soon!
BD

LEROY, Water and mud aint gonna hurt a Coach bow. LOL!Jonesy
Sure Ain't gonna hurt an RER either but I'm still gonna get a beater bow.
