I had some left-over 2X4s and 2X2s, and needed to get the bows out of the basement and on the wall. Here's what I came up with today.

Added a shelf to display arrows.

First coat of cherry stain.

Drilled a couple of holes, cut a dowel down into pieces and rounded the ends, and glued them in.

Second coat of stain.

Cool design! Let's see it once you fill it up!!
Third coat of stain.

Now all I need to do is glue a little felt over the tops of the dowels so as not to scratch the limbs, hang it up, drop the arrows in the holes, and hang them bows.

Put the Silvertip and the boys' Bear's Paw in the rack today and am very pleased.

I like it. That four wheeler appears to be a rugged piece also.
That really turned out nice. Good job, looks like something I need to make, if I can find room on a wall for it.
