Hey Gang,
let's have a look at your snake skin backed bows, whether done by you or others. From what I've seen they are beautiful. Let's see 'em! Cheers, Matt

Very cool! Keep em coming! Cheers, Matt
Mickey: that lower bow in your photo looks like one of Timo's carp skin bows.
You've got a real nice collection.
I think a skinned selfbow shoots better. I also feel sneakier when I carry one.

What type of skin is that on your middle bow?
I like the darkness of it, I'm thinking about trying to dye a rattlesnake skin brown before I apply it, maybe even green, brown and black diagonal stripes.
not real sure, it was roadkill :scared: (that's where most of my skins come from)
It is some type of rat snake I believe.....
I won't kill bullsnakes or rat snakes, but I will sure pick em up off the road if they are in good enough shape (and fresh enough :D )
Now a rattler on the other hand......
the middle bow looks like ratsnake...Mike yancey sells them.
Bob
This is mine. Course, what olding the bow is much prettier(sorry Bob). (http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f294/jmmccrum/March07download044.jpg)

Sweet stuff guys! Thanks for sharing them!
Dan- those bows look familiar, did you just post on those a little while back? Looks very nice!
Curt- What kind of skins are those in your top pic? Must be copperheads in the others, eh?
A guy sure can see how they aid in camouflaging a bow and adding beauty. Thanks again fellas. I'd love to see more! Cheers, Matt
Curt will correct me if'n I'm wrong (often am), but I think the top is prairie rattler and the middle is canebrake.
