Well, I guess I am as sick as my Bro. I just got off the phone with Mike ordering my new Dryad Bushwhacker. It will be 58" amo and 53# @ 28" . Ebony and Osage riser and Bamboo and Osage limbs with Watusi horn belly. Should be beautiful.
I was following the thread about the hog hunt and all those pics of those beautiful bows. I could not stand not owning one. I guess the only cure is to keep on getting new bows.LOL I may end up single living in a trailer park, but I will still have my bows.LOL :bigsmyl: ;) ;)

SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!! BROTHER REMEMBER.... IT'S BETTER TO GIVE THEN RECIEVE! :bigsmyl: CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW BOW.<><
You are gonna need a new bow rack and probably a new house cause Gail is gonna kick your tail,LOL. Cannot blame you on the Bushwacker, been looking myself. What the heck is a Blacktail Special Edition and when did you get that??? My Elite VL should be here in a couple of weeks,Norm said it is ready for finish and is looking Grand. Better sell the Widow, you know ya don't like curves,LOL. Did ya get the bowbolt on the Bushwacker?
Danny
I know, just ordered a new bow rack too. I am not getting the bow bolt, gonna keep it one piece.
The Blacktail Elite VL Special Edition is made of Wenge and Myrtle, Mostly Myrtle. It is hard to get enough Myrtle to make them so Norm has only made a few. This one is an 2004 model. I will send some pics when I get home.
Frank, Thanks and you are on the list ;) :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
Donald
Hey Frank you trying to horn in on my action? LOL I keep an eye on Don, he likes similar weights to me. hehe
I don't think you caught anything! Family traits are...Genetic :biglaugh: Doc
I can sure understand how you were tempted by the looks of those bows. I've been watching that thread too and drooling more over the bows than the hunting! I'm going to have to be VERY careful at Comptons!
David,
It sure is good to see you posting again. Hope you are doing well. You and then Frank will be the first to know if I decide to get rid of anything. Might have to part with the widow, have not made up my mind on that yet.
Donald
Things are going very well finally. About 6 weeks of healing left but it was nice to see the guys shoot and great to get out on the water and catch some fish. Very tired but even more happy. Of course I can't wait to be able to finally shoot my own bows.
Donald, sounds like you are hooked. I don't think there is a cure! Enjoy. Frank
I am telling you that those bushwackers are not just beautiful, but they are real shooters also. Good speed if that matters and very quiet. I took mine to a 3D shoot today and had several compound guys drooling over it. I am very happy with it. Donald you done good.
Hey Love your signature also.
Tony Sr.
Thanks Tony, that scripture is my favoite of all.
I can not wait to get my hands on my Bushwhacker I know I will love it.
Doc I know what you mean, I guess we are identical twins in our love of trad bows and ways also.
Donald
You got that right Doc. You would not believe how much alike our lives have been.
Bubba, you will have to let me shoot that Bushwacker when I come over in Dec.
Danny
Donald, I personally believe it's impossible to have too many bows. Good for you!
John
Danny and Donald,
We could work out a brother deal and build two. LOL
BTW is one of you left handed?
Mike
Congrats Donald!!!! I know you'll be pleased. I've never handled a bow that shot better than my new Bushwacker. It may be a sickness, but you done good...
No, Mike we are both right handed. Danny is right haned, but left eye dominant. Me I am blind in left eye from birth, so shoot right handed for sure.LOL
Donald
LOL, Mike,
That would be very nice, but afraid my pocket book will not allow it right now. Nope, we are both righties. One of these days though I will have one of your bows. Looks like we posted at the same time Bubba.
