There seems to be a paucity of selfbow making lately. Well, to hopefully break the lull I thought I would post the bow I finished up yesterday for my little sister's youngest son. Last winter I showed some of my bows to my brother in law and nephew. Of course they both wanted one. So here is the one I made for my nephew.

It is 53 inches nock to nock and draws 30 pounds at 25 inches. I overlaid the tips with elk antler and made the arrow rest out of leather and superglue like Dave Bulla did in a build along here a year or so ago.

Excellent! Congrats for bringing a new shooter to the fold.....or should I say addiction? Hope you have a few dozen arrows to go along with it (wouldn't give him more than 3 at a time though).
