Title: First try's at 3 piece take down
Post by: mjc on May 16, 2007, 11:29:00 AM
Both of these bows are straight end longbows one has the limbs on the front and one on the back I made them both 70" long  one pulls 47# @ 28 and the other 48# @ 28. One has bamboo limbs with a .002 taper with black glass  and the other is clear glass and sassafras all paralell's Ther'e a hoot to build and sure shoot good with the added weight in the riser thanks for looking.

Thanks everybody,  the only bad part of building bows is that you can't stop yourself. There should be some kind of warning lable or something. But it sure is fun, Thanks.
