Mickey,
I sure enjoy seeing these pictures each day.
Thanks Shell & Jeff
Grand old bird isn't it?
And to think Ben Franklin wanted it as our national symbol instead of the eagle
Can you see a bunch of Harley riders with turkeys tatooed on their biceps ? :biglaugh:
Mickey I have seperate pics of yours as my wallpaper both at work and at home, I'm sure I am not alone......thanks. I too never tire of looking at these.....
You can get one of those fake stick on tats of a turkey, put it on and model it for us to give us an idea of could have been.....
David :scared:
I've got "a few" eagle tattoos.....
But I would be PROUD to wear a "Turkey Tattoo!!!!! I can see it now.....Ridin' a Road King with my leather jacket.....the label from a bottle of "Wild Turkey" sewn on the back!!!!! We would call our club "The Wild Turkeys".....and we would be the "Baddest Flock" on the road.....
(probly the smartest too..... ;) )
:biglaugh:
You guys are a riot!
Just wondering if Ferrit is an undercover member of PETA posting all these pictures of those really incredible brids and teasing our inner hunter's soul as he has been doing? :saywhat:
Mickey I don't recall seeing or hearing. Did you shoot a bird with anything other than your camera? :p You must of as your pictures are super. Thanks for sharing them with us. They make me wonder just how brite I am. As they always do what I least expect. And leave me holding a unfilled tag! :readit: I'm not sure I like turkeys!
Brent
Brent..nope ain't shot nuthin yet this year. I have an empty tag as well. One more weekend to correct that though.
They are in my yard all year except during the mating period. About 2 weeks before hunting season comes in they dissapear. Then come back in the yard once the poults are hatched. I've never taken a spring bird here in 14 years.(taken a lot of pictures though) I have taken a couple fall birds.
Dianne has ALMOST taken a couple spring birds but for the most part it's a turkey ghost town when season is in.
hey ferret nice bird where did you say you live? :archer:
he's a nice one
Jeff: Mickey lives at the Cincinnati zoo.

Mickey keep up the good work. It has to all come together at some point! Hopefully your broadheads! :bigsmyl: They are flustrating! Maybe irratating is more like it.
