My Horne Mountain Bow came with a rubber grip that I removed immediately. Now, I'd like to put it back on. I found out that it's not as easy as it looks. Any tips to getting the thing back on and positioned correctly?
Roll it up and the roll it on until you get it to where you want to start it. Then unroll it on the riser. A little powder can help.
roll it up into a doughnut and use a cord to pull it over the grip and keep rolling and adjusting from there
My archery store showed me a nice trick for these, I use them on mine. You are talking about the no gloves, right? If so, take a paper clip and straighten it out. Then fold it in half. Slide one end of your string over it to where it goes down to the middle of the fold. Put both ends of the paper clipthrough the rubber no glove until the ends show through the other end. Then pull it through as far as you can, helps to hold the paper clip with pliers or vise grips. After that just slide it down to where u want. Make sure to take off anything u may have on your string, such as silencers and such and put them back on when through with the no gloves. Hope this helps.
jmar595, I believe he is talking about the rubber grip sleeve for the riser.
