This old heartfelt post recently came to mind and I found it interesting to go back and review it again. At this time of the season it's easy for so many of us to identify and associate with its' message. Hope you agree.

Amen Gary, And it appears to me, that with age it becomes even more important to spend more time enjoying "The 4th World"
Thanks for replaying this..........vance
Man I needed that ,,,,Thanks, sometimes we let that 4th world get a little too far away... I believe it is what they want...

Thats good stuff. I just came in from mundane yard work, where my mind was on the new roof I need, the graduation party I have to prepare for, the college bills I will be paying this fall....it's good to have some motivation to drag my mind AWAY from that stuff.
I think traditional archery is GREAT therapy for the beating every day life gives us. We have to focus on something as simple as an arrow hitting a spot...and there is no room in your head for anything else.
Most times our minds are overcome with being responciable. Its nice to read something so true, and remember we have the ability to escape all on our own. All it takes is a little imagination and desire to escape. Thanks for sharing those thoughts.

This deserves another trip :bigsmyl:
Yeah, there's no better medicine for everyday life than to walk the woods with bow in hand. Just the other evening I was in the woods with my shooting buddy. He had a new compound to tune in, so I walked our 3D course. I found myself stalking and counting coup on several rabbits and pheasants. In my mind I was in the Ozarks after whitetail and turkey. I sat and watched a fox set out on its evening patrol, imagining I was still hunting coyote. Kids don't need to be the only ones who have fun.
