I'm glad yours worked out. I was not as lucky. I bought a set a month or so ago. waited a couple of weeks and finally called him, He had forgot I paid him. We discussed that they were for a BW and had to have tapered bolts. The intention was to send the arrow heads and bolts seperate and I would glue them so they would line up. Finally friday they cam in. Bolts glued, no taper and to short. I have called his number 10 times with no response. his voice mail is full. I am disapointed

Buff sorry just send them back I will pay shipping both ways and make right. Machine is cleared if you would like to call. Or Pm me your number and I will call you. If you want a refund I can do that and you can keep the bolts and sell them for your trouble. I am very sorry all my fault.thanks<><

I can understand you being disappointed and believe you have a right to be. Frank would be the first to admit that. Although I have never met him in person I've seen how he has dealt with the people on this forum. I believe him to be an honest and good man. I'd urge you to give him another chance. Just my opinion Buff but I'd be willing to bet my longbow that it's shared by the majority if not everyone on this site.

I'm very happy with the 4 sets I've gotten from him.

Looks like he's offered to fix it however you want...over and above just making it right...sounds like great customer service to me.

I had an email from him this morning. I was sure he would make it right, I just couldn't find him.
I used a torch last night and removed the bolts myself, so it is all good.

Had no doubt that Frank would take care of whatever was needed to make it right.  Frank is like most around here - it's not like a full time business with office hours, so sometimes can take a bit more time to get in touch, but it will get done.
Frank, are you going to have a booth at Lake Geneva this weekend? Going to have any limb bolts along?  I could use a set myself.

Buff,

Be patient w/ Stickshooter and allow him the opportunity to make things right.  I had a great interaction with him months ago that did not involve any exchange of money...I got to experience first hand the man's generosity and an offer (that I did not accept) for his wife to do some work gratis for me.
He deserves an opportunity to correct your transaction, then it would be very cool for you to report same to the rest of us.  Make nice/nice....  Stickshooter is worth the effort and the consideration.

Just my opinion,,,aught to be yours....

Frank Made me a set of limb bolts for my Black Widow.

Here is a picture I took last year of my bow in Alaska (with Franks knobs) waiting to ambush a Caribou.
  (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v636/bfisherman11/th_WidowinAK.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v636/bfisherman11/WidowinAK.jpg)

I was fortunate to harvest a nice bou thanks to these fancy knobs...LOL

Just Kidding, Hey they do look pretty though don't they?

Knowing what a huge fan Frank is of BW I am sure he is just blushing right now seeing his work on a BW bow... Ha Ha

Hey Buddy, cannot wait to see you guys this weekend in LK Geneva.   ;)

Regards,
Bill

OK, really these knobs have with stood two years of my field testing and part of that in AK was continuous rain and wet with no failures. I am very happy with them!

I'm bringing some of my work with and hope to feel up to shooting, it's a beautiful course and it's supposed to be nice and cool.
See you and Gail there.    :)

Frank is the most honest man I have ever had the privaliege to know. I have never met him in person, but he is the most giving and unselfish person ther is. He and his wife Shell are great Christian people. I would trust them with anything.
