I normally don't like to complain in public, but this one hurt, BAD. I was out shooting tonight with my longbow that I made last year. I've shot this bow a lot. Usually every night 50-100 arrows. Anyway I get back to full draw...WHAM. The top limb delaminates. I didn't get hurt, thankfully, but the bow did come apart. So there is my sob story. Here's a pic of the damage.

At least for the next few months. As much as I love shooting longbows I migh have to go to my back up recurve, again. Dang this sucks. Thanks for all the condolences LOL.
Your fades look pretty good...what epoxy was used? And what riser wood?
Thanks,
Marc
Used smooth-on the riser is cocbolo the lams are bamboo. I clean both well with acetone before glue-up. Live and Learn
I did'nt think acetone and smooth on worked together at least thats what fedora's told me and there smooth on dealers .
ive had a few bowyer buddies tell me its worse to ues acetone because it just causes the oil in ths wood to come to the surface in greater quanities then was there before but im no expert
Sorry about your bow.
