Title: Ever heard of a Black Widow SA VI ?
Post by: CJ Pearson on April 27, 2007, 10:01:00 PM
I have a BW recurve that is 60" the bottom limb has SA VI. I have been to the widow web-site and see SA III or SA V but not a SA VI. The bow was made in 2002 I was just wanting to know if anyone has ever heard of this model or is it a mis print that is supposed to be a SA III? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think the VI came in Mossy Oak or some kind of camo.

Dave, this one is all osage no camo. Just wanting to possibly get stonger limbs from someone if they had them forsale and I dont know enough about the BW bows to make sure I get the correct ones. Do you know if all the different models fit the riser? Thanks

SA VI was a SA with "extotic" wood now called a PSA X. X bows can be ordered with Yew, Cocobolo,Osage,Kingwood,Bocote, etc. limbs and risers. Call BlackWidow and tell them what you have, they will be able to help you out.

Handcrafted exotic is correct, you have one of the few exotic bows they made before switching over to the CNC process.  They can resize the bow so it will accept a new pair of limbs with a perfect fit.  The current limbs would need resized also.  It will be perfect when done.  Just had one done myself.
