I use 2020's on  my wife's 500 Beman MFX shafts. A 2018 may also work. If it is a little loose put them on with Gorilla glue, which expands when it cures.

I believe the easton  st excel 500 is 9/32 diameter.I the easton catalog they list Axis obession 300 at 9/32 and a 2013 fit it great. Now on my Beman black Max 300 took a 2016 for a good fit.Like Bill uses a 2020 fit on my Beman  MFX classic 500 great.I would be looking to try a 2013 or a 2016 to see if they fit on the excel st 500.I know they are right between axis/mfx and the older model excel's because they take a different nock and insert.
