Well I guess I have too many hobbies. So (pun intended) I just picked up this little gem to hopefully help me out. A turn of the century Singer Harness/Shoe sewing machine...no motor all hand power. It goes thru a stack of leather like butter :) Now lets see knife sheaths, quivers, arm guards...having fun. Doc

Look out!! Now That's a beaut, Doc! Can't wait to see what you can make with that fine machine!!!<><
That baby was built to last.
Keep yer thumbs outta there Doc!
Those babies go thru skin & bone just as easy as the leather!!!! :scared:
Larry
Thats a beaut! They sure don't make things that well built anymore.
What a find. Lets see some pics of it in motion.
hey doc that is foot power not hand power. how do i know we have those here. oh yeah one slip of your thumb and its all over bar the shouting and swear words LOL!!!!
I would need to get a leather belt to use the foot power. Trouble is I can't seem to do two things at once (at least that's what my nurses keep telling me) so I'll just use the hand wheel for now. Not as many moving parts to coordinate :) Doc
Old machinery is awesome. What a find!!
Singer 360.. If I look real hard I may have some belts and a bunch of parts for ya Doc.
That be great Vance!
That's a heck of a find Doc!
Jeff, I had an opportunity for one of those cobbler machines just like that one about 3 years ago from a place on my truck route.
Would've made life so much easier...
but, you sorta got me back into my beadwork and quills :)
Nice lookin chunk of steel Doc, I'm like the others though... keep your fingers outa the sharp stuff ;)
Way to go.. I've been lookin' for something like that for awhile. Good luck. and post some pics when ya get 'em done. :archer:
