I have been trying to get pics of this bow up for two weeks, it is a used mikuta 62" recurve, it pulls 45#s at my draw length. It is my first takedown and I am still trying to get used to shooting it, before this bow, all I shot were d shaped longbows, the riser is cocabolla with osage laminations, the limbs are osage under clear glass, man is this bow fast!!!!!!!!!!, I am hoping that this will be the bow that I take my first deer with this fall!, louisiana just opened a spring squirrel season, so I'll get some time to hunt with it soon, Ed Mikuta sure makes one heck of a bow! NICE!!!!! My 2 Boys,my wife, and I all shoot Mikuta longbows.
Ed is an OUTSTANDING bowyer and a Master Craftsman. He sure does make BEAUTIFUL bows!!!!!
Ed's bows are nice. I bought one of his youth longbows for my son. It sure is nice. That's a pretty recurve.
Your very fortunate. Ed has discontinued the premium woods in all his bows. I still have the shop bow here in Cocobolo riser and Bocote limbs.
Ed has now gone strictly Actionwood...Brown/Gray/Hunters Blend. They blend with the surroundings real well and are great shooters.
