Title: New Volunteer Target
Post by: ber643 on April 20, 2007, 06:27:00 PM
Yep, A new target on my home archery range - well for a little bit anyway. No, I couldn't shoot at "The Bunnie" - not if I wanted anymore of my wife's good cooking anytime soon. I can shoot Rabbits in the woods, but not "Bunnies in the yard" - and boy have they become brazen since we retired "Sloopy", the Beagle, to the fenced area - as you can see. (Actually we love to watch the "Bunnies" - and Sloopy & Camo Dog when they see them out there.   :D  )

Yeah those back yard rabbits get brave allright. I have a old shed right behind my dog pen those rascilly rabbits come out and tease my beagles all the time. But when we get to the woods the dogs think they have a score to settle. Saturday morning there was a hot doe (rabbit that is)in the yard with four bucks chasing her all morning kind of comical to watch I guess that means a bigger herd this fall LOL. bretto

Sounds about right - the wife and I watched three like that out front about a week or so ago.
